अनुच्छेद 140. उच्चतम न्यायालय की आनुषंगिक शक्तियाँ— संसद्, विधि द्वारा, उच्चतम न्यायालय को ऐसी अनुपूरक शक्तियाँ प्रदान करने के लिए उपबंध कर सकेगी जो इस संविधान के उपबंधों में से किसी से असंगत न हों और जो उस न्यायालय को इस संविधान द्वारा या इसके अधीन प्रदत्त अधिकारिता का अधिक प्रभावी रूप से प्रयोग करने के योग्य बनाने के लिए आवश्यक या वांछनीय प्रतीत हों।

Article 140. Ancillary powers of the Supreme Court— Parliament may by law make provision for conferring upon the Supreme Court such supplemental powers not inconsistent with any of the provisions of this Constitution as may appear to be necessary or desirable for the purpose of enabling the Court more effectively to exercise the jurisdiction conferred upon it by or under this Constitution.
