अनुच्छेद 245. संसद् द्वारा और राज्यों के विधान-मंडलों द्वारा बनाई गई विधियों का विस्तार—
(1) इस संविधान के उपबंधों के अधीन रहते हुए, संसद् भारत के संपूर्ण राज्यक्षेत्र या उसके किसी भाग के लिए विधि बना सकेगी और किसी राज्य का विधान-मंडल संपूर्ण राज्य या उसके किसी भाग के लिए विधि बना सकेगा।
(2) संसद् द्वारा बनाई गई कोई विधि इस आधार पर अविधिमान्य नहीं समझी जाएगी कि उसका राज्यक्षेत्रातीत प्रवर्तन होगा।

Article 245. Extent of laws made by Parliament and by the Legislatures of States—
(1) Subject to the provisions of this Constitution, Parliament may make laws for the whole or any part of the territory of India, and the Legislature of a State may make laws for the whole or any part of the State.
(2) No law made by Parliament shall be deemed to be invalid on the ground that it would have extra-territorial operation.
