DRDO successfully conducts maiden flight tests of Integrated Air Defence Weapon System (IADWS)
- IADWS is an indigenous multi-layered air defence system comprising:
- Quick Reaction Surface-to-Air Missiles (QRSAM)
- Advanced Very Short Range Air Defence System (VSHORADS) missiles
- High-power laser-based Directed Energy Weapon (DEW)
- Integrated operation is controlled by a Centralised Command and Control Centre developed by DRDO.
Nepal joins International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA)
- IBCA is an India-led global initiative to protect seven species of big cats: tiger, lion, leopard, snow leopard, cheetah, jaguar and puma.
- IBCA was launched by PM Modi in 2023, in Mysuru ⇒ establishment of IBCA with its Secretariat HQ in India was approved in 2024.
- IBCA is a coalition comprising of 95 big cat range countries, non-range countries with an interest in big cat conservation, and various conservation partners.
- IBCA has 16 founding members and 13 member countries (including Nepal).
130th Constitution Amendment Bill
- Proposes that Ministers, including PM and CM, arrested for offences punishable with imprisonment of 5 years and above, and incarcerated as undertrials for 30 days, would lose office either by default on the 31st day or on the order of the President/Governor.

- Inaugurated by HM Amit Shah at the Delhi Assembly.
- Marks the centenary of election of Vithalbhai Patel as India’s first Speaker of the Central Legislative Assembly.
